#9 - How to create more ease in a hectic year: 5 leadership lessons
Welcome beautiful woman to Episode 9!
This episode is an invitation to reflect on how to navigate a hectic year with more ease.
This year for me has been a big one: planning my wedding, growing my business, launching new programs, and… also grieving personal losses. Amid all the highs and lows, I’ve been reminded again and again how leadership is not just about what we do in our work, but how we live our life.
One of the reasons I wanted to share this episode is becauseI’ve received messages and compliments from friends telling me, “I see you planning this wedding so relaxed and with so much joy and team work, and it gives me hope that maybe I could do it that way too.” And I thought: we need more stories of ease. Of expansion.
So in this episode, I’ll walk you through “5 leadership lessons”that this “big year” has taught me — and offer you some powerful reflection questions to bring back to your own journey.
Whether you’re navigating a promotion, a new role, atransition, a big personal season — or just feeling overwhelmed by all the “doing” — this episode is for you.
What we explore:
How to apply deep life lessons to your leadership journey
Intention and priorities in decision-making
Structure, discipline, and feminine energy
Intuition and perfectionism
The importance of letting go of other people’s narratives
Finding peace in duality: celebration + grief
Reflection prompts from the 5 leadership lessons:
1. The power of intention
What is my intention right now?
What are my 3 non-negotiables for this season?
How would success look like in the second half of the year?
2. Strategy, structure, and support
Where do I need to bring more strategy and structure?
Where can I ask for and receive more support?
What could I delegate — at work or at home?
3. Intuition as a secret weapon
How can I give more space to my intuition?
How can I manage my perfectionist part better — withcompassion?
4. Cut the noise
Draw a small circle on a page: Inside, write the challenge you're currently facing — becoming a manager, launching a business, starting over...
Then, draw a bigger circle around it. Inside that, write "ME" — and start listing all the reasons why you’re bigger than this challenge. Repeat to yourself "I'm bigger than this challenging situation",
5. These are the good old days
What can I already be grateful for in this season?
What memories am I creating right now?
